2nd Anniversary

Good Morning all Happy 2013 to you all. Today is my 2nd Anniversary in Blogland. "YAY!!!!"
It is only when I look through my blog posts that I have had printed that I realise I have had quite a lot to say and share over the past two years ( friends say "no surprise there")and this just reminds me that even though we think we are ordinary women living ordinary lives we actually have such a lot to share, say to each other  and celebrate in our everyday lives. I cannot believe now that I was such a reluctant blogger with very little confidence in thinking anyone would be remotely interested in anything I had to say. You have all proved to me that this isn't so and I thank you all for it. So thanks for your encouragement, for visiting and all your treasured comments and most important of all your friendship.
I have a little giveaway to celebrate, just to mark the occassion.....
My "Stitchery Keepsakes" booklet, 2 spotty fat 1/4's, a set of postcards from my lovely friend Tracey, a little crochet motif and some ric rac braid. If you would like to be in the draw just leave me a comment to that effect and I will draw it next Wednesday the 9th . Good Luck!
Now this will scare you all.....LOL!
" I am stitching a project for Christmas 2013!!!"
Is that screaming I hear????
Well that is about for me today, I have been taking it a little bit easy and still have my nose in a book. It is by author Cathy Kelly which I had not read before but I am quite enjoying it. I still have a pile of books ready to  lose myself in and look forward too. I have also been drawing my little pencil to the stub which I am loving and I hope you will too. There is nothing I love more than a fresh sheet of paper and a sharp pencil.
I wish you a day of doing something you love too.
"There is great beauty in the ordinary. You just have to know where to look"
Blessings Michelle xxx

Congratulations, Michelle and happy Blogiversary!
I look forward to reading your blog for many years to come.
A Christmas project now? Of course that makes sense - especially for things that have to be in magazines.
I also find I get so many ideas for things over Christmas but no time to make them, so January is the perfect time to stitch while the ideas are HOT!

G'day Michelle. Good on you. How wonderful. Your blog is always a great pleasure to read. Bit scary about the early Christmas project. Though only a day or so ago I felt the urge to applique some tea towels for some next lot of Chrissy presents. Take care. Liz...

Happy New Year and Happy Blogiversary Michelle...just before Christmas I received a surprise package from Australia...a gift from a blogging friend. She knows I love Australian designers and she sent me your 'frosty friends' stitchery booklet. I love the patterns and stitched a tea towel for a friend. I will be stitching many more. This is a great time to stitch Christmas projects. Thanks for the chance, happy stitching, Pauline
